When we discovered that our competitors use cardboard end caps in their oil filters, we saw an opportunity to showcase the superiority of Purolator oil filters. To do this, we crafted a campaign that emphasizes the absurdity of relying on cardboard to safeguard yourself and your loved ones in everyday scenarios.

When Purolator came to us asking for a campaign that promoted the fact that their oil filters are made in America, I knew I had to find a unique way to say it that hasn’t been done before. So I thought, what are a few things people associate with America that don’t come from America? And voilà, our campaign was born.
