Like many companies, 2nd.MD had to close its office due to COVID-19. During our time away, we decided to create an internal marketing campaign featuring various health and safety tips, which were placed around the office as a way to help our employees feel less fearful about returning to work.
To ensure the campaign was effective, we knew it had to be as engaging as possible. To do this, we decided to take a more fun and light-hearted approach by having our CCO, Donovan Campbell, play the role of Mr. Rogers — a popular educational children’s TV show host who discussed various topics to help prepare us for the challenges we may face in life. However, Mr. Rogers never quite prepared us for days like these. At least, not until now.
To kick off the campaign, we shared a video prior to our employees returning to the office of our CCO enacting the famous opening theme song to Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood — but with a bit of a lyrical twist.

Hello my neighbor,
I’m glad we’re together again.
A series of posters featuring various health and safety tips were placed around the office. The first was a poster in the shape of a stop sign, intended to remind those who may be feeling sick not to enter the office.
Six-foot-tall die-cut Mr. Rogers standees were placed around the office in various locations to encourage employees to practice safe habits such as sanitizing their hands and staying up to date on the latest info from the CDC.
To coincide with our life-sized standees, we also created a series of mini—Elf on the Shelf-style—standees, which would pop up in a new location each day, with a new health or safety tip.
Here are a few photos showcasing the campaign around the office. I look forward to sharing more photos and videos of people interacting with the posters and standees as more and more employees return to work in the office.

I was hired at 2nd.MD to write copy for their social channels. However, I quickly realized their social media presence needed more than just a few posts written; it needed a complete overhaul from the ground up. It needed to focus on building a community, offering advice, and reassuring people that they’re not alone. So that’s what I did. I developed a new social media calendar, conceptualized each post, wrote the copy, and art directed each and every post.

While working at 2nd.MD, I was tasked with creating various videos to promote the company and the many solutions offered to their members.
To educate people on how to utilize 2nd.MD’s app, we created an animated tutorial that walks them through the process of requesting a consultation.

Each quarter, I was tasked with creating a video testimonial that highlighted a member’s story at 2nd.MD. Below are a few of the members I’ve had the privilege of highlighting while working with 2nd.MD.
An expecting mother just 25 weeks pregnant, feared for the future of her unborn child when her baby was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Compelled to understand the best means of preparation for her little one’s birth, and what to expect after delivery, Bonnie reached out to 2nd.MD.
After a delayed surgery due to COVID-19, Teresa reached out to 2nd.MD to see if there were any additional treatment options available to help her stop losing weight and find some much-needed relief.
Skeptical of using 2nd.MD’s service, Anna decided to reach out to discuss an upcoming surgery after her orthopedic surgeon informed her that she may wake up having undergone a different surgery than she was expecting.
After Dany was diagnosed with a rare spinal tumor, he decided to reach out to 2nd.MD to determine whether he should undergo spinal surgery, get radiation therapy, or risk living with a tumor that could eventually leave him paralyzed.
After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, Cherice became very ill. When her primary doctor suggested major reconstructive surgery that included a feeding tube, she decided to reach out to 2nd.MD for a second opinion.
After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, Laura’s husband immediately reached out to her best friend, Sarah, who worked at 2nd.MD, to request a second opinion. When Sarah found out her friend was in the hospital, she immediately started working with Laura and her family to help her speak with a brain tumor specialist.

Creating external videos that showcase 2nd.MD’s solutions and how they impact their members' lives was only a small part of what made 2nd.MD such an amazing company. The true change-makers were the employees and the culture they embodied each and every day at the office.
To showcase what it’s like to work as a nurse at 2nd.MD, we created a video that follows a nurse throughout her entire day.
To show appreciation for the nurses at 2nd.MD, we created a short video that highlighted their contributions to the team.
To show our appreciation for the intake team at 2nd.MD, we created a video that highlighted employees from various departments.
